Keep a small phone charger in your travel bag. Recently the FBI has warned smartphone and laptop users against juicing up their devices at public charging points because of the risk of malware injection.
Even though there are articles saying that the juice jacking attacks on mobile phones are nonexistent, I still think that a portable phone charger will probably charge your phone faster than most airport/hotel USB ports.

Those scary warnings of juice jacking in airports and hotels? They’re nonsense

Hi, may I ask, for international flight, what time should I reach KLIA? Like, is it 3 hours or 4 hours before departure? Thank you

Hi everyone

Just wanna ask an advice

I've already book a flight to Seoul through Vietnam Airlines

Initial flight arrangement

8.00pm - KUL
10.00pm - arrive Hanoi

11.50PM - Depart Hanoi
next morning- arrive Seoul

However I receive an update from VA that my original KUL - HANOI had been re-schedule to 8.50 and this mean I'm no longer able to catch my connecting at 11.50PM (<120 minutes)

Now they might book me either earlier afternoon flight and catch the night flight or change my connecting to next day (burn 1 day).

May I know if I have to layover for more than 5hrs, can request for a compensation like lounge access?

At least 3 hours before flight time usually to be safe.

I'm also planning to travel to Seoul using Vietnam Airline but through Ho Chi Minh city. There're flight to catch to Seoul, 1 has a layover of 10 hours, and the other 20 hours. I'm planning to choose 20 hours layover and check in to hotel to get some rest before flying over to Seoul.

Does anyone know whether I go out from airport during a layover?

Thanks.

If going to Taiwan, their wall plug is 110v and my appliance example Hair Dryer only 220-240v

Can i still use it with travel adapter (not step up transformer) and will it get damage?
The power will decrease by half or more ?
