Probably they will not find out, lots of spraycans are on board. The worst thing that can happen is that you are called to the X-ray room to open your bag and then have to leave it.

Hmm there are very generous limits for checked in baggage. People travel with skis, surfboards, etc.
Are you sure you haven't misunderstood the rules? How big is this keyboard anyway?

The package is 140cm in length vs 119cm allowance

Been bugging me for few days now....

"..or within 126in / 319cm dimension for each individual bag."

319 cm should be enough right?

A quick check from amazon gives a dimension of

15 in x 55 in x 8 in

Looks to be sufficient. Hope no issue there!

I am travelling to/from KL to Kota Kinabalu. Anyone know if camera tripod (19 inches folded) is permissible on hand carry? I have been overseas and when trying to come back they don't allow tripod on board. Thanks

Hey guys, I have a question regarding buying alcohol back from China.

If I travel to Shenzhen from Kuching via direct AA flight and come back the same way. Can I buy a 500ml bottle and put it in my check in luggage, and then buy another 500ml bottle from airport tax-free shop and get them to seal it for me to carry on flight (which they will, right?) ?

AirAsia rules and regulations are so confusing, and my friends who travel china regularly also cannot be sure...

yes you can put it inside for check in luggage..

for the one you put inside hand carry luggage, you can only buy it at the duty free shop after you passed the security and immigration.

1 litre aggregate with minimum 3 days stay .

p/s - normally They don't check . For your info , Malaysia duty free liquor is cheaper . Unless you like Chinese wine , we have more choices .

Yeah I like Chinese baijiu haha. Too bad msia is a baijiu barren. So have to source it elsewhere. Thanks for your reply! I'll prolly carry 2x 500ml in luggage if enough space. Then another 500 from airport duty free for carry on.

You can pack as much alcohol as you like if contains less than 24 percent alcohol ā€“ think wine and beer. If your bottles have between 24 and 70 percent alcohol content, you can pack as much as 5 liters (1.3 gallons) in your checked bags, as long as the bottles you're using can be sealed.

Hello all,

Iā€™m a student currently studying in germany and will be moving back to malaysia for good soon. During my time here, i purchased quite a few vintage camera lenses for my personal collection and use as they are super cheap here. in total i have about 10 lenses. Iā€™m also bringing back my guitar amplifier and headphones aswell. Just wondering if i will get taxed at KLIA upon arrival for these items?

All these items are personal items that i used and not new ones.

Thank you
