Tonite, I'll swap out Vault -Tumble (which was hardly used at all) with Sentry -GT for just Boss and uber kill objectives only ...hehehe. Perhaps, I might consider to try Companion -Bat instead of Boar in another kill test to generate sufficient supply of hatred to produce sentries timely.

Preparation -Punishment to the rescue of full hatred restoration in an instant hopefully, my DISC replenishment can keep up and support it in addition to the spamming of perma-gloom continuously else got to find a 20% ias DML in gAH or RMAH to do the job.

Anyone tried spike trap sticky trap farming? How's you guys' experience, i used it for today's farming, quite fun actually when a group of mobs surrounded me, i just stick a trap or 2 to random mobs and when they died, kabooooommm!!! lol...

And I went to try tanking two MP10 packs at once.. and it's crazy, I can't survive. Need more EHP

It was

Succubus Champ Pack with Reflect Damage, Frozen, Descrator, XXXX
and
Phase Beast Champ Pack with Fire Chain, Health Link, Avenger, XXXXXX

Forgot the last affix of the packs. Tankable but have to kite when 3 stack of Descrators; also if kena chain-frozen and gloom expires + trap's gone = instadeath.

Dayum! That's gonna cost USD 3000 to build i guess.

To achieve such EHP, you have to sacrifice the following:

1. Attack Speed
2. Discipline

I honestly believe an EHP ranging from 500-600k is enough. The mitigation from your HP, AR, gloom and GT is and should be in the 90% region easily.

I mean, if u're gonna stack that much EHP at the expense of (1) and (2), do you longer see the purpose of playing DH? No proc? no disc pool, hence just tanking hits. no that fast shooting feel. Is that what you really want?

I know is a matter of choice and this is just my opinion on the way i want to build my DH. No offense intended.

I like your opinion DH is about insane DPS or DPS machine, only when they want play solo farming at higher MP only need EHP build, 500K - 600K should be in comfort zone already. I'm still ~400K ish how to reach polar bear's level?

no point to invest in additional stun... better u increase attk speed into your existing 35% chance to stun...

ya....

for low mp farming... no need gloom at all... save your disipline for perma vaulting

for high mp no need waste gloom much on trash mobs

but i think LS only gonna benefit HA users. The delay on bola is aduh...

Added on November 26, 2012, 11:02 pmI have 500k and is comfortable enough to do like mp6 solo without GT. I think with GT, you can push it another 2 ranks. If you wanna follow polar, drop some AS then and compensate it with AR and HP.

Well said! Going for EHP certainly limits the cap of the achievable DPS due to the lack of ASPD / Crit Chance in some items, and also the max disc.
But since everyone will have different preferences, can't say much on it as long as it's to each of his/her own.

My DH has managed to make a Diablo kill in 9 mins too and so, there is no urgency to buy a 20% ias DML yet.

The build to engage boss and uber fight is as follows;-

Active skills
Bola Shots -TB (credit goes to one of wKkaY post)
Sentry -GT (credit goes to one of polarzbearz post)
Grenades -SG
Shadow Power -Gloom
M4D -ME (credit goes to one of d3dragonslayer post)
Cluster Arrow -LoF (credit goes to one of 2890 post)

try it Bro... get a cheap 1.1k Dps manticore with ls for less than 10 mill

bola with imminent doom..higher Dps means higher ls returns. the best thing is if u kana stun or nightmare.. your bola is still regenerating ls 2s after .. if u think about it the delay is good in its own ways..... when urgently need life instantly then use impale or cluster lfb.

Which one?

One gives me 50k DPS boost, the other 22k DPS boost.

My friend says LS on high MP is insane on a DH.

if me, i'll go for higher DPS boost one, because that's what makes Demon Hunter unique, DPS for the win, i know the LS one is seducing, If can buy both la. haha.
