im very new to WP8, this notification quite convincing. My question is, does the live tiles require data continuous update?

I do watch the preview by Joe Belfiore mentioned the data usage could be managed efficiently by the device compressing the website. is it the new features by WP8? how good to be true, since im plan to use the pre-paid plan
