I don't believe Nokia Malaysia sells grey units. The colors I know that is being sold are Yellow, Red, White & Black.

The is no setting in the Store app to see your purchased history (unlike iOS), maybe they will implement this in future updates of the software (like iOS as well)

The last phone I have was Nokia n8 running Symbian. It allows me to view my purchased apps and I thought it was quite a basic function. Here's hoping for updates.

Yes, I do not like the lack of forward and back function in IE because if you press the capacitive back function, you may back out entirely (or terlebih press) and you have no options other than going back to your favorites or typing the address. They need to fix that soon.

Also, I'm using wp8's own fb apps and it always kena blocked from running in the background. There's no way to turn it on except reinstall. Anyone else got this problem?

from my experience nope. You can try it yourself find appdeals. then download it. After the deal expired uninstall and redownload again.

yes, once the FREE promotion expired, if reinstalling you will have to pay for it. i remember last time gmap pro free for 1weeks, later when i try to reinstall no more free.

If it's 3G, then should be app problem. But for me, I receive most of the notification EXCEPT for group messages from the integrated People options and Messages (for any individual FB messages).

If you are using WiFi, there's currently a problem (which has been fixed, but we are only getting during February) where once you lock your screen, the WiFi is turned off after a few seconds. So it means most application will not work (or messages won't get push in the Toast Notification area)

my Facebook app sometimes fail to show updates. There are no such problems with the people hub and messaging hub though. I check the setting->application->background tasks and find that the Facebook app is blocked from running in the background and I couldn't unblock it even if I click the unblock option. The only way to solve this so far is to reinstall the app

mmm, that's strange...I got the WPCentral app for free back then (it no longer free)...the app wasnt free, but when i got the new phone, i tap "buy" and it prompts me saying that i have purchased the app, if i would like to redownload the app...
same goes to other paid apps, such as [+]Lockscreen, which i gotten for free, i can still install it back without paying...

My yellow lumia 920 is a defective unit, confirmed by nokia themselves. bought for 2 days. now they tell me to wait at least 2 weeks for them to order a new lcd to replace mine. Just 2 days and they tell me they're not going to replace me with a new phone. damn dissapointed. not helpful at all.
Waited at the Nokia Care Amcorp Mall ( they say its the main branch ) for one whole hour and a half and the person in charge, Kelvin is not at all helpful. Just showing the none of my business face. And nokia the gardens. Same thing.

It's the same across all mobile platform. On iOS, Android or WP. The app may be on promotion, dropped price to half, <insert wherever % discount here>, or even free, and will go back up once promo is done, once purchased, it will remain yours free for download or re-download if you uninstalled it back. On iOS and Android now, they've removed the price of the app and replaced it with "Purchased" or "Downloaded" if it has been purchased. It is the same thing with WP, only that in WP marketplace, the price of the app is still there, giving the impression that the app needed to be repurchased back at original price, even when it was purchased as significant discount(or free).

The only time an app would require a repurchase at full price is when a better version is being offered. For example when moving from version 1 to version 2. A minor update that moves the version by 1.x will still be free if you have purchased it at whatever price you purchased before (or free).
