if you all plan to get 920 in the future, then I suggest you all get a proper casing to protect the sharp edges because of the added weight of the phone, if it drops to the solid floor, it's gonna hurt really really bad, especially the edge of close to the headphone jack.
*
i dont mind for the iphones or the galaxys but windows phones all look too beautiful to put a casing on.

Haha good but this been happening since nokia lumia 800 and 900 also out of stock. Honestly they havent learn.

U guys should worry developers fixing the bugs and release updates to suit the phone new resolution. Hope viber release voice call. Windows phone 7.5 only message and no instagram
*
viber small issue really. Skype is the future. They need to bring in group msging into the app and maybe can outdo whatsapp. I always wanted an app that syncs between desktop/laptop/tablet/phone. Closes thing to that now is facebook messenger app.

Just paid for my pre-order for a Yellow 920. Got to play with it at the Nokia store. Feels really nice and I have no complaints about the weight. Can't wait to et my hands on it next week or latest, 10 days from now. I saw that they have Whatsapp installed in the phone as well.
*
no complains about the weight? Its the biggest gripe about this phone for now actually. So much so that i am considering the 8X. But then the Nokia exclusive apps are pulling me back to 920.

so this phone will be launch this week means already in malaysia ?/?

This week they would most probably confirm the retail pricing and the availibilty. It is still possible that it is only available Jan 2013 onwards. My suspicion is that they will push it to before christmas.

while there are 8 or 9 companies with LTE license, only Maxis, Celcom, DiGi & Umobile has existing 2G network. Only these will bundle phones. Others focus on being mobile ISPs.

its a media event. surely its in a more private location like a hotel ballroom or something. Official launch should have a seperate event where there would demo units and chance to pre order on the spot.

On an unrelated topic, did you guys went to PC fare last weekend??

It was VERY 'small' in overall. Not much crowd, booths, gals, gadgets, etc...and especially no NOKIA booths to display LUMIA phones!! ><"

Sigh, went to KLCC asked the staff there when would the Lumia device be on display, none of them know...

All also ask me to wait for Christmas...
*
someone said there was a 920 and 8X at the windows 8 booth. Did u check there?

For me its not bout spec anymore. Its about quality n stability. I'm ex androidfag btw. Used to hate iphone so much until I jump to lumia which is so boring. When I hv nothing to do I just scroll up n down my contact list. LOL. Felt so pathetic when my friends can play good games n hv fun with so many apps. Until WP8 getting more apps, I gonna be ifag for a while biggrin.gif
*
i using iphone and still facing the same problem. i get bored of all the games very fast. good need to pay and even those get boring fast. the apps that i use to kill time is facebook, twitter and flipboard and i find these more than enough. Flipboard not on WP8 yet but pulse seems to be a good alternative. reading is good and reading on the 920 beats the iphone 4s for sure.

i dont get the impact of google disabling the Active Sync protocol thingy. WP8 does not support IMAP or POP protocols at all? my company's email is based on IMAP protocol...this could be a problem

Google is also doing away with POP3. It will be replaced by self-signed certificates, I don't really know what it means, but meh.

The IMAP from Google isn't an industry standard IMAP protocol. Google has tweaked it so much that Microsoft really has to study (like Apple did) its API in order to implement a Google IMAP on Windows Phone. Standard IMAP protocols are supported on Windows Phone, that's not an issue. Google is a different beast altogether.
ah makes sense. no biggie then. hardly ever get "urgent" emails on my personal mail anyway. Just forward them all to my outlook.com
