As far as I know (from my reading, I don't own WP), there is no smart dialing or even speed dialing built in. However there is an app for this, not sure what's it called.

For me its not bout spec anymore. Its about quality n stability. I'm ex androidfag btw. Used to hate iphone so much until I jump to lumia which is so boring. When I hv nothing to do I just scroll up n down my contact list. LOL. Felt so pathetic when my friends can play good games n hv fun with so many apps. Until WP8 getting more apps, I gonna be ifag for a while

i using iphone and still facing the same problem. i get bored of all the games very fast. good need to pay and even those get boring fast. the apps that i use to kill time is facebook, twitter and flipboard and i find these more than enough. Flipboard not on WP8 yet but pulse seems to be a good alternative. reading is good and reading on the 920 beats the iphone 4s for sure.

Well at least I had fun playing FPS games on my ex android tho I have to face crash n hang many times, dual core with 1Gb also no use

Actually I love my lumia800, but I wanna have experience with iphone. Wanna know why ppl so crazy bout it. Planning to buy 920 when the price dropped

Yea I got so bored of iphone apps until lazy to download anymore. The first few months was fun now lazy download. Now to think of it will iphone be my next phone nah I gonna see the same thing all over with limited features

Nope tarak, no t9 dialer but I can teach you a simple method, hold Windows logo to bring up the TellMe and say your command like "Call biatch" or "Text arsehole" but it requires some practice on the pronunciation.

I am sorry but 'smart dialer' sounds 1mil times more ridiculous than how Apple perceives wireless charging!!!

from you description of the feature, it seems that you must already have saved the number for it to auto appear when you dial the first 2 digits for example - its like auto suggest in internet browser minus the fact that in web browsers - they give suggestion on URLs that are not in your favourite.

Why would one wants to type the digits of a phone number instead of going to the saved contact in People Hub? I mean, all mobile numbers in Malaysia either start with 010, 012, 013, 016, 019, 017 etc. So you need to type at least four digits for your phone to auto suggest the numbers from your phone. and who remembers the phone numbers of a friend nowadays? It must much hassle and not to mention MUCH LESS click to go to People Hub. It auto suggest the name of the contacts instead of the tel number. You also can list the contacts by alphabets/number. Not to mention to get all types of contacts of that person, from phone to instant messenger to facebook chat.

G5sim: am used to this feature dude. For example u get. Message from maxis 014555xxx miss call b4 calling I would like to know whom is this person thus by keying the digits then u can guess whom it might be. Almost all phone has this feature standard.
