got do this or not? told a friend to do this, it improved for him (for myself too) http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/di...rts-informationall online games, and torrent will use port forwarding. Setting it into your router will enhance the performance/bandwidth usage of the applications. I'm using P1 so I studied the concept and applied the settings to my modem. After which torrent downloading is much more faster. Other games like League of Legends also got their own Port settings Added on August 23, 2012, 4:07 pmuse this page http://portforward.com/ (as provided by blizzard), search your modem model, it will lists down step by step on how and what to add. QUOTE(justnits @ Aug 23 2012, 04:07 PM) hmm...come to think of it...i did port forwarding on my router. so maybe that's y even when i'm using 175 i don't face lag? oh well tht is why. Port forwarding is so under-rated. ppl keep say lag but never really did these settings to their router. Some are afraid to touch the settings all like it's gonna go ka-boom if something goes wrong Try la. I've asked P1 technician also he said the same thing. Set port forwarding does a big difference. more on port forwarding : http://portforward.com/help/portforwarding.htmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwardinghttp://netforbeginners.about.com/od/p/f/Wh...-Forwarding.htmhttp://superuser.com/questions/284051/what...-is-it-used-forQUOTE You hear about 'port forwarding' as a way to improve your download and game speeds, but what exactly is port forwarding?
Answer: Port forwarding is the redirecting of computer signals to follow specific electronic paths into your computer. If the computer signal can find its way into your computer a few milliseconds quicker, it will add up to be dramatic speed increases for your game or your downloading.
