My Jack Russell is hell of a crazee fella. Hyperactive 24-7!! Always jumping up and down, follows whoever wherever they go(I think for robbers too). Lol. And he likes to catch lizards, cockroaches and tears them into halves. icon_question.gif But it's really a nice dog. So sad I've to let it go. Check out my signature. doh.gif

Hello everyone ~

I'm thinking of getting a dog as a companion. I'm often bored and left alone at home. I'm considering to get a Jack Rusell but, before I get one, I wish to know more and decide what's best for me.  biggrin.gif

I read that this breed shed a lot, is it possible for me to minimise its shedding? Is it suitable to be left outside(compound)? I don't think my parents will let it in, they won't even let me touch a dog when I was younger! Maybe I'll get him a kennel.

Is it easy to be trained? It doesn't really matters as I have plenty of time. Finally, will it bark very much? I'm afraid that neighbours might complain but their dogs are noisy too... tongue.gif

TQ!  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Hie mskven,

My dog is about 1 and a half years old now. My sis brought it back from KL for me. He likes to follow people around and he's very adventurous. When I left him inside the house alone, he'll start to cry and bark. But when there's people at home, he won't even make a single noise at all. He'll just follow you wherever you wanna go and wants to play with you all day. If you just ignore him, he'll just sleep quietly. Hmph, sorry I'm not very experienced with my dog cause I only took care of him for a month now. My sis went to UK and there's no one to take care of him now. My parents have to work and I've to attend college so I need to sell him. cry.gif He's really a good dog.
