Well my labs dont have the medical card from the breeder, definitely he cheated me, together with the MAK cert. Always give excuses that cant find the card this and that.. very iresponsible fella.
I dont know if it's because the vets decides to charge me more, my 2 labs yearly jabs costs rm 130 each from Taman Megah, not forgetting the Heart Guard supplement. Fuih..

Sorry to ask, issit really neccessary for microchip implant? I know it only serve for identification purposes.
I dont think should be a problem if we decide to switch vets rite? Now Im beginning to think that the Tmn. Megah Vet is cheating me.. Last time my Male Lab got problems with the hind legs, took some x-rays which costs around rm300, then didnt even let us keep the negatives. No medicine.. just ask us not to stress the dog too much. Play ball also stress? Furthermore the male lab is not overweight..
Vets pandai make money ler..
Hehehe.. my gf also working in medical line. Btw, which vet do u all recommend, Im from Old Klang Road and I know there are plenty there, just think that if there's any better ones I dont mind to try. Waana save some RM..
The breeder certainly cheated you like that. They should have provided you the medical card. Normally I will receive my dog's MKA cert after 2 to 3 months from the day I bought them.
Taman Megah, Dr Yeoh right? Not cheating lah, basically their fee there is high. Hos place is like a mini hospital for pets so normally if they have lots of staff, sure the fee higher. An xray normally cost Rm50 to Rm100. Their consultation fees are high there that's why. My area, setapak, genting kelang, consultation fees is only Rm20, sometimes if there is nothing wrong with my dog, FOC consultation wan.
Where you stay? Normally I'd recommend Healing Rooms, Mayo Clinic and Brickfield's vet. They charge reasonable prices and are good knowledgeable vets.
PS: You can get the info from the vet clinic thread.
