HI,

I just adopted a 5yo male JRT last 1 week plus.
So far he is quite well trained but only 1 headache was he is really good in escape from house compound (car porch area). Guessed he squeezed out from the main gate and go outside walk here and there. already happened 2 times.
Wondering you guys got facing this problem?

Is any JRT Club or Group in FB? Hope can know more JRT owners and can keep in touch in FB....

Buy some play pen and fence up your gate. I have to do the same to prevent them from going out

Will put on the net on the gate to prevent him squeeze out from the gap.

Is there any other JRT group in other websites or FB besides this group?

Your plastic net will not stop your jack from going out. get the metal play pen. Expensive but worth your money

Nairud,

actually i just sometimes let my boy to be free in car porch compound so plan to put on the net on gate to prevent him escape.
I got no space to put playpen as he already got a cage.

You have the wrong idea. My Jack roams at the car porch.

Get the playpen, use wires and attached it to your gate so that your jack cannot squirm out.

Hi everyone,

I am little curious about my dog's condition. Recently I brought over the JRT from my friend house.

After few days, he started to develop rashes on his body. He would just sit and keep using his mouth to clean his private part.

Attached with this photo is his body condition..

Any idea what caused this problem?

Hello. I have Jrt too and have the spot too. That mark/spot is normal for all dogs. once they ages the spot will spread. So no worry.

Btw, do your friend or know anyone have jrt puppy for adoption? I'm looking a partner for my jrt.

Anyone have JRT for adoption or sell? Please PM me. I am interested to get one as family pet. My young boy now 7 years old & I believe he is ready to take up some responsibility.
