Shutz! Very dissappointing visit indeed, tot I was going to own a JRT male, but the owner said that this batch have been booked and I need to wait another 8 months for a male. Well, patience is gold.

If you want, you can wait for mine. I'm expecting one litter.

Sure, why not. I can come to Puchong anytime, Im from Ol Klang Road, near Parkson. Actually Im not in the hurry, is just the the temptation of owning a JRT. Neway, will ask some advice from you, so far never keep any JRT b4.

Hehehe.. cute fella.. Honestly Im really fresh about JRT's, havent do much homework + research on it yet. Those with experience please share.. DOes the long fur type shed alot of furs? Because my mum got asthma, so I plan to keep the dog in the house. My female Lab can be really jealous sometimes, I worry it might hurt the JRT if I put them together. Furthermore, are there 2 species of JRT, I mean 1 with short fur & the other with long fur?

JRTs come in smooth (short), broken (medium) n rough (long) n all 3 coats will shed a fair bit.

Dun worry bout d JRT having 2 look after itself, dey r a very feisty breed...worry more bout ur Lab getting pushed around instead . Best 2 read up on how 2 handle a couple of dogs in d house, coz d JRT wun shy away from d 'Top Dog' routine.

JRTs usually get along better with d opposite sex, hence a male JRT may gv more face 2 ur female Lab. Labs r usually a very gentle breed n most JRTs, I've seen get along very well with d gentller breeds...coz can bully n take advantage of dem

Now i'm getting all worked up and worried about her pregnancy. dunno whether her motherly instinct will kick in or not once the pup is born. I'm afraid that she wont bite off the placenta.

Haha, I think its time for my female Lab to watch out.. Hhehe.. neway, will try to introduce the JRT to the Labs slowly. I prefer the short coat, my neighbour's JRT is short coat and it looks darn* cute.. tak tahan man~

I dont mine taking nairud's litter.. cute is the word. @ Nairud, issit the 1st litter? If it's so wish u good luck then.

Hah, I'm just as lost on matters pertaining 2 delivery. Better hv a word with others who hv hd litters b4 or read up on it.

Dat pic ... yah, JRTs r at deir element ven dey r soaked in a puddle/ mud, with ball in mouth. Look closer n u can c dem grinning from ear 2 ear.

Yah d smooth coat is more popular n u c more of dem around town. Perhaps bcoz d broken n rough coats r harder 2 find. Here's a pic of all 3 coats together.

i think we should have a Trial demo in msia. ya know, the put in cage, let loose, chase after a piece of cloth. (with and without obstacles) Maybe we can even ask JRTCA to setup a small club over here.

JR Hurdle Racing wld b great fun but very difficult 2 find a large enuf field 4 such an event, dun even hv a dog park in dis country. Also need a mechanism 2 drag d cloth at around d course at speed, where 2 find?
