bought 2 Dell UltraSharp U2312HM, one on December 2011 another on july 2012

i'm not using for dual because i use it in my 2 pcs mostly for authoring videos or producing photo/pictures. Sometimes, do play abit of games. So, i am not really into games. Actually, both of them is good just that ultrasharp series are better abit. TN panel is for gamers, fast speed sacrifies accuracy colours where as IPS panel the other way round

Yes, the usb port can be use as what a normal usb port can do. If i am not mistaken the charging ability is according to your motherboard.

I guess is a matter of taste if asked me. Nowadays even handphones are upgrading using IPS or matte screen. IPS screen are more pleasant to the eyes, TN panels are just faster or fastest screen to meet demanding future games. As for real RGB or CMYK quality, TN panel produces NOT ACCURATE picture quality. So, is more like sacrifies some for some things here. SPEED VS QUALITY

try and solve it by looking at the Horizontal/Vertical Lines QnA if the problem still exist contact DELL immediately.

Is it related to recent upgrade drivers issue? did you upgrade your driver recently?

actually, nowadays nothing is everlasting what is more concern is the warranty given, right?
3 or 5 years of warranty is enough for the peace of mind we get from them beside DELL exchange 1 on 1
if is faulty straight away no question ask. I would said this kind of offer is too hard to resist
