Just got off the phone with Dell and the price quoted by them for u2414h is rm859 with 3 years warranty.

how much teng quote for 5 years warranty? you're right, monitor no international warranty. but you should be no problem just go to JB?

Only problem for me is, I need teng to send this to Kelantan and then fly back to SG with the monitor as hand-carry (which I am still not sure if I am allowed to), and if anything wrong, to call Dell courier to meet me at JB on weekends. The story is a bit long but yeah, more tedious than to just pay more and less warranty in SG (which is actually quite a bit of a loss to bear with).

Dell quote me U2414H with 5 year warranty at RM921 include delivery. Whereas teng quote me with 5 years warranty plus delivery to Sarawak at RM 910.

How jimmy.soo can got it from Dell at RM828.90 with 5-year warranty?

you are using nvidia graphic cards with u2414h.  Please confirm your resolution in nvidia graphic properties is under HDTV or PC resolution.

full size DP port got 2, 1 for input from GC, another 1 (MST) for output to another monitor.
miniDP is input from your GC. conclusion, you have 2 DP input, in full size and mini.

so either your GC is mini or full size DP, also no problem with bundled DP cable.

Unfortunately this utility doesn’t do anything to the DisplayPort signal. We only had one U2414H with us for testing, but suspect that running them in ‘Surround’ using the MST/Daisy Chain capability of the monitor will use the correct signal as well because the resolution used (5760 x 1080) is PC only. If not a solution would be to use HDMI ports (or DVI ports using a DVI to HDMI cable) on the GPU(s). We simply used the HDMI connection and the utility to correct the colour signal (universally – even for games that ignore custom resolutions) and the difference in gamma, colour depth and contrast compared to an uncorrected signal was remarkable. AMD GPU users don’t have to worry about this and should be able to use DisplayPort or HDMI quite happily.

Having eye on U2414H right now. The cheapest I can find is RM910.

The price for U2414H is at RM859.
Currently the warranty is 3 years. To add additional 2 more years, +RM62.

I've been following this thread for a couple days and yesterday decided to place the order for U2414H since so many of u bought it and recommended it...
But sadly, when I call Dell Malaysia at lunch time. They told me the offer is over d..
Now the price is RM 1,059 (warranty 3 years)
The lady informed me the promotion no more. Ended 2 - 3 days ago!!

mine is nvidia.  The DP is really buggy. It's either nvidia or the monitor itselft. I found out shutdown both monitor and pc, and remove from power source. Wait for few minutes, the DP can be detected.  Somehown handshake between monitor and graphic cards has some problem.  It does not wake up from sleep mode.  When i restart the machine, gone the displayport > went into power saving mode again. 

yes. Got the RGB problem as well on DP.

as I mentioned before, some of spec update from TFT Central are not accurate. That's correct, The Dell U2414H utilises an LG.Display LM238WF2-SSA1, as the spec below but still fall within standard IPS panel only:

- 16.77 Million Colors
- 6 bits + AFRC Panel
- Gamut: 85% (CIE 1976) 72% (CIE1931) 96% sRGB
VS. the real AH-IPS spec, which is higher:

- 1.07 Billion Colors
- 8 bits + FRC Panel
- Gamut: 120% (CIE 1976) 109% (CIE1931) 99% sRGB
you disappointed on RM800 paid for U2414H? coz you expected to get AH-IPS? Do you know what's the launched price last time for U2413 (AH-IPS)?

Hi guys right here, just wan to ask is Dell U2414H good for gaming? I was planning to buy S2340L or Asus VX239H before but some ppl says S2340L like mirrors and vx239h's stand not safe enough...
And i see Dell u2414h this monitor at gadget zone shop...looks good but really dunno is that worth if buy this cuz price really not cheap...
Guys can gv me answer? I really wanna make a decision asap...
