hello everyone,
i know that this is a common question but i cannot really find any actual answer from googling whistling.gif

ive got a samsung s23b350 monitor and currently using vga

will the vga lower the actual performance?
the response time is rated at 2s will it be lower by the use of vga?
other stuff like color and resolution

will hdmi be a better option?
i want the best out of this monitor! biggrin.gif

appreciate your replies icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes using VGA output is giving the lowest picture quality for your monitor , to elivate to another level is DVI and best is HDMI , if your display card and monitor has HDMI support, by all means, use it.

Guys i have the budget of RM500 max. The cheaper the better.

I narrowed my choice to

LG 21.5 IPS LED Monitor IPS4 Series IPS224T Full HD = Rm420

and

VIEWSONIC 23' LED MONITOR (VX2336S-LED) IPS = Rm490

Which one is the better choice? both have the slow 14ms respond. I seldom gaming but sometimes dota 2 n battlefield.

But mostly i do photo editing.

Some say get the 22" higher density pixel, some say bigger is better for monitor size.

Thank you

not sure about the viewsonic version but i did saw the lg model in lowyat the other day
although its ips the picture quality is not so good, not very sharp kinda blurry whistling.gif

Maybe it was not set to it's native resolution? Some shops daisy chain multiple monitors of differing resolutions together so that might worsen the quality of the image shown.

Maybe tongue.gif but at that time the monitor was displayed at the front of the shop alone hmm.gif
