Samsung P2770H is older, 2010 model I think.
LG IPS277L is gonna be released in 2013.

Samsung is an LCD panel.
LG is an IPS LED panel.

Samsung second hand I'm getting around 600+
And the LG for about 880.

Ugh I'm very indecisive on this. I know the LG is supposed to have a better picture. And the Samsung's LCD is supposed to have higher power consumption.
But I've always liked the Samsung for over a year.
I'm gonna use this monitor for some gaming and some drawing.

Pretty sure it's obvious I should get the Lg monitor.
Maybe I just need some feedback from friendly lowyatters..
Should I get the LG or the Samsung?

Hahha between these two brands I'm not really biased on either side. Samsung is great for value even though I know they do use some cheap materials on the insides(had that capacitor popping sound prob, and my sammy Telly backlight also kinda retarded)
But I don't really think LG has much of an advantage in quality in my opinion.
Either way they are both good monitors.
Just looking for that one extra point that I missed out that would make me lean towards buying one of them..
