Like DeepMemory recommended with your budget, you should look into buying a U2312HM. Try asking CyntrixTech if they will do colour recalibration if you buy from them.

The dell definitely worth a look cause my whole college almost all the labs using this monitor lol

And about colour calibration , can ownself do ? or is it a must  / necessary ?

Your college has some quality. nod.gif

The monitor already comes with factory colour calibration. To do better than that, you will need decent colour calibration hardware, which is more expensive than one U2312HM.

While it would be nice if you can get it personally colour calibrated, it is not necessary as the factory colour calibration should be good enough.

Guys wanna ask. If connect from desktop to monitor, usually from desktop is VGA  or DVI? then connect to monitor. But if monitor got VGA, HDMI, DVI, Displayport. Connect to which one? Is there any difference between

Connecting VGA to VGA, VGA to HDMI, VGA to DVI, got any difference?

Best to avoid using VGA unless you must. The order is DisplayPort > DVI > HDMI > VGA. You can get signal noise with VGA cables. And HDMI can have weird issues because it is designed for TV display and not PC display. Least troublesome is DVI and DisplayPort.
