yes bro, previously before I bought P2314H, I am interested in U2312hm too. And then someone here suggested the P2314H. I terus fall in love and bought it. Now I am still loving it, adjustable stand is     

and now i feel that my 19" samsung so small stand beside it.

what is the different between ah-ips and normal ips? My P2314h is Matte screen.
Compare to my old 19" Samsung, the Dell's display and Color is Superb. 

P2314h hard to see text with the default settings? Need to turn off the image enchance according to some user reviews from Newegg and Amazon

Just bought a Dell S2440L.
Colours are vibrant, response is ok for gaming, glossy surface makes everything pop out.
It's just a little bright sometimes but will adjust until I'm comfortable within these few days.

I THINK it's an IPS panel but don't know which type of IPS only.

It was placed next to an Asus VX239H but the glossy design just captures me. Still loving it

in general, you can assume which series of Dell monitors categories as below:
1. E-Series (Business Entry Series)
2. S-Series (Consumer Series)
3. Professional Series (Business User Series)
4. UltraSharp Series (Dell Premium Highest End Series)

the pricing also roughly sort in order   

I'm not sure what's the selling price now, can't tell it's worth or not. if you asking the display good or not, it's always depend on end user requirements.    Yes, I used this model before.
you can use the search function here, this question asked many times before and answer is here. S2440L is not IPS panel, is VA panel. the most important is, you're happy with this monitor 
just to share the confirm spec again:
S2440L = VA panel
S2740L = IPS panel (but is not AH-IPS panel)
