Guys i have the budget of RM500 max. The cheaper the better.
I narrowed my choice to
LG 21.5 IPS LED Monitor IPS4 Series IPS224T Full HD = Rm420
and
VIEWSONIC 23' LED MONITOR (VX2336S-LED) IPS = Rm490
Which one is the better choice? both have the slow 14ms respond. I seldom gaming but sometimes dota 2 n battlefield.
But mostly i do photo editing.
Some say get the 22" higher density pixel, some say bigger is better for monitor size.
Thank you

QUOTE(homerthewhopper @ Jan 18 2013, 02:22 PM) not sure about the viewsonic version but i did saw the lg model in lowyat the other day although its ips the picture quality is not so good, not very sharp kinda blurry QUOTE(ego3nity @ Jan 18 2013, 02:31 PM) Dell S Series is a good panel but it is so glossy (like a mirror) you should go to Lowyat or other IT shops to see the monitor itself with your real eye. Alright thanks. Because im in Sarawak, dell and viewsonic almost non existence in the pc shops.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jan 19 2013, 07:20 PM) For photo editing....serious, cari makan or casual ? If serious photo editing work, you should be most concerned with colour accuracy of your monitor. I suggest you colour calibrate your monitor to get the most accurate colour reproduction your monitor can achieve. You can get something like a Spyder4 Pro or a Color Munki colorimeter from Shashinki: http://shashinki.com/shop/datacolor-spyder...ter-p-9875.htmlThere's no point putting so much effort into editing when first of all, your monitor is displaying all the wrong colours. What's worst is the printing process, you'll notice a huge difference and there comes the headache Cr mkn also. Hahaha. Yeah been thinking about the calibration. But the price of the devices really really expensive. Thanks anyway

QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Jan 29 2013, 04:41 PM) I got a U2312HM too recently. Just wanna check if its just my monitor but does your monitor have strong backlight bleed at the bottom left corner also? I find it quite obvious when the screen is gray or black. Seems to be worse than my LG IPS226 in terms of backlight bleed. let me check it tonight
