I think it is likely to do with the fact U2312HM is being out-phased though - What they will have left in inventory are refurbs.
So you'd very likely need to go through a few replacements before getting a decent one.

OMG! Next week i will resume my work after long holiday, so it is kinda impossible for me to wait at home just to received & test the monitor. Will they accept topup & change to the new 24in monitor? biggrin.gif

That I am not too sure though... Honestly I doubt, but you could try asking.
But eh, it won't be that bad lah. smile.gif Just wait and try out the replacement, seriously. smile.gif Don't worry about it until you get *another* faulty replacement, then you can go nuts all over Dell logistics. biggrin.gif

that's make sense, avoid buy out-phased or old model. just buy U2414H, latest model; if RMA, chances get brand new are higher since less monitor return yet to refurbish/repair. sometimes if you have luck, those 5 years monitor might get free upgrade to newer model....

Touch screen monitor ? I don't think is popular over here. You should contact dell for pricing.

Mine was about 2years plus, anyway i wont say Dell is bad cause they provide longer warranty period with little amount of top up (i topup about RM38 to get extra 2 years warranty), other brand i don't think they will provide 1 to 1 warranty exchanged.

talking about dell and warranty and monitor u2312hm

mine i think have some problems already (1.5 years)

just the left side to the middle, got "refreshing lines" non stop, and fuzziness

what do i do? call dell for warranty, or the seller that sold me this ?

5 years correct

Replacement unit received today & tested, it is refurbished unit as stated on the box unlike the previous replacement unit which is brand new, however this unit look like better than the previous unit, no leaked back light & color quite balance throughout the whole LED panel.

Call dell customer service directly, fast service, normally can get the replacement after 2 days (referred to my case)

Ask them to go to your workplace to pick up the defective unit, and send the replacement to your workplace too. smile.gif
