My newly configured Desktop doesn't showing full screen, it looks like the resolution at 800*600, which has black blank part at all sides, although the windows resolution was set at 1920*1080, anyone have any idea why?
Previously this monitor was fine when i connecting to my old laptop.

I did claim warranty over bright pixel issue. Initially they replaced me with a refurbished 2711H (which was more expensive than my model) but then I requested to have a same model then they replaced me back with a new (seems to be new) 2713HM monitor.

oh ic..did the refurbished unit come with box or just monitor only no box?

Anyone has a recommendation for a budget touch screen monitor and where to get them? Preferably less than RM 800?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong post here. I got a ViewSonic VX2370smh about 7 months ago, and a few days ago the left side of the screen started to show green tint and pixelation. Confirmed it's the monitor problem because I tested it at a friend's house also.

If I send it in for warranty, should I just send straight to ViewSonic HQ or through the shop that I bought it from?

Eh, Dell S2340L is IPS while S2440L is VA? Which is better? Still doubting between Asus VX239H - RM 670, Dell 2340L or Dell 2440L hmm.gif Need the HDMI hmm.gif

23" monitor seems small..27" seems expensive...can almost get TV lol hmm.gif

EDIT: Wanted to get Dell U2312HM but it has no HDMI (Can be solved with HDMI splitter) but then no audio out...then it's hard for my laptop and ps3 to share the same external speaker hmm.gif

I am currently using a Dell 2408WFP for the past 4-5 years or so. I find that the screen is overly bright and kinda yellowish. What would be the recommended upgrade for a sub RM1k FullHD to replace it?

Looking for similar brand and performance? Then try the U2413H(M??), around RM900.

Ah the U2414H kills it, 24" suppose to have 1200p, now they move to 16:9 which kills the reason to have 24" monitor (1200p).

Samsung got. S27B970D. RM2999. Bought mine at Samsung shop in digital mall pj. Using PLS panel n 3 years warranty by Samsung Malaysia. It's using a full glossy surface though,so a bit reflective, but the colour reproduction is awesome. Nice for gaming too, tried pc(mostly fps) n ps3 gaming. Don't feel any lag at all.

S27B970D can run 120hz ????
u playing ps3 gaming any ghosting ??????
*
i've told u in the pm already, i manage to run it at 85hz cant go any higher unless i know the custom timings which i don't. PS3 no ghosting, but mostly play fifa 14 and GTA 5 only..not much fast pace.

But playing FPS using the PC is smooth, don't see any form of ghosting.
