Doesn't happen to everyone... just bad luck on your side. Better u restore and start over. If JB, better chance to recover without restore. Might want to try if u want.

Haha true.. My galaxy s crashes less than my new ipad . Owh and before i get blasted for saying that, studies have shown that ios apps do indeed crash more often than android apps.

Did you close all the used apps?
I have come across many iPhone and iPad users who don't close apps and the apps keep on running in the background.
Try closing all the apps then restart your device.

Update to latest OS since it is not jailbroken.

Close all your Apps in the Multitasking panel, if the problem still persist then try a soft reset by press and hold the Standby/Off-On and Home button till your iPad reboot and let go once you see the Apple logo.

Haha it depends on how u rom it bro . Anyways i was just acknowledging the TS's statement that this never occurs on android and it is evidently proven that contrary to what the public thinks, ios apps do indeed crash more than android apps

even my pc windows 7 crashes la. all OS crashes so just live with it. but crash usually u reboot everything is ok. so TS case is an exception. should send to apple for examination. please do report the result here as we forummers like to know the root cause.

from my own personal experience with windows 7, android ICS and iOS 5.1.1
least crash is android ICS , then iOS, then windows 7 (this is not global stats, just my personal experience).

iOS apps crash the most. Example is the MalaysiaKini app. It crashes 15 times in 1 hour.

previous i jb my friend ipod, since it need upgrade for the jb, i upgrade it.
this happen
its because i use upgrade that is not for ipod, it was for iphone (yeah, the upgrade using restore in itunes that is the wrong version did this)
easier fix is just to do another upgrade. if that ipad already on latest ios version, your best bet is to wait for the next ios update

you said you not jb because you support ori, that's just weird. not support jb and not support piracy is not the same. jb is now not illegal, its permissible by DMCA. what's more ironically, jb actually greatly improve idevice experience. Apple should be thankful for existence of jb that's what keeping half (or more) of their customer from jump ship to android

if your friend is having samsung galaxy tab 2 , he can always throw it away and get a tab 3 better display like retina finally
