I have a quick question... I myself is totally not into cars... so i dunno much about pricing and parts and where the issues...

I driving a 7/8 years kelisa manual 1.0
lately my engine "jump", especially when going up hill and when changing gears...

so i took it to a workshop, a workshop which already went there many times, mainly due to family members all going there...

but i getting more and more sceptical about the pricing. especially almost 2/3 services sure have some big problem when can used up more than 1k.

and last time i get a shocked when my gf's myvi O2 sensor get quoted around RM600++ while we took out and found out some quote RM250.

back to question, the kelisa, seems 3 part of the mounting get spoiled, and i get quoted price of RM 860, for 1 part ori (main part) 2 parts compatible i guess. if not mistaken the price also including workmahsip which charges 250 i think. and my car needs to spend overnight there, coz they need to unmount engine.

so all the sifus, ... haha just a quick question, did i get ripped off?

its very hard to find a good honest shop ... =( i dun mind pay high as long as its good... haiz

if rm8++... it's ok seeing labour charges are in... but you SHOULD be getting all ori parts instead... all the 3 mountings ORIGINAL... else if cheapo wan... sure few months down the road... your engine will be shaky again...

but if only 1 piece if ori and another 2 piece are not... then the pricing is expensive... try going other workshop then.... why staying at one if being loyal still getting ripped off...

8xx for 3 ori mounting +installation. ori mounting, fixed at ipoh last month.

Ayam brand only RM3xx with instalation. lolx

time to find another workshop man....bloody conman that workshop...

my ex-kelisa auto mounting i use ayam brand for 3 pieces oso around 3xx including install...lasts about 2-3 years

Wah very expensive lo.

I go to my preferred mechanic there only RM 500+ including installation but using good compatible parts.
Already 2 years and still going strong.

if i were u, i rather go to perodua to fix...

mountings original quoted to me rm962.1, labor rm250, sum up only rm1162.10 (all perodua service prices varies, please check local perodua quotation)... excluding ahjib's tax 6%

if your family mechanic charging you around that price, i suggest you go for perodua's quotation first, after all, you are getting all original parts, and u are not sure if your family mechanic will provide you 'original' parts

btw, kelisa mountings price varies, from rm520 - 650 for unknown brand and some shop that claimed to be 'daihatsu original' mounting... those price are excluding labor charges...
