Your spec is okie ... u can run WOW pretty well. Frankly speaking im just worried about the 512K Streamyx package, 512K isn't too shabby ... why not go for the 1MB package.

Very very big different when using 512 MB ram compare 1GB.
suggest use 1GB and you will love it. Loading on crowd place will be much faster and smoother. |

Yeah, net speed, not RAM, RAM I already got 1GB... So, is there really a big difference? Coz if there is, I might consider changing to 1MB, if not that big of a difference, I'll stick with 512KB.

i'd suggest getting 1gb RAM once you hit 60. otherwise, 512 would be fine.

1mb or 512kb line shouldnt make much diff since most of the online game dont even utilise ur entire 512kb line. U can use a 56kbps line in US and still get better ping compare to a 1mb line in Malaysia.
True story. |

Eh, i used 56k modem when i just bought the game.
Managed to lvled my shammy till mid40s with it. Ping wasn't too bad, 1.2k-3k max. Decent enough for normal instances. But definitely lag when i go to crowded places like AH. After that, my application for streamyx finally got through. BTW, im playing WoW through my new laptop recently when im staying in IMU. 512ram is decent enough to play the game at low-medium graphic settings. Jaring wireless there suk big time. |
