Tried googling on this but was unable to find any answers. This may sound hopeful but I was wondering whether there are any hardware / software out there that allows the use of an SD Wifi card as a Wifi network adapter for the desktop PC.

I have got a Sandisk Wi-Fi SD card which I use for my XDA O2 Mini. Was hoping to put it to more use.

I'm referring to the whether it's viable for manufacturers to come out with the hardware/product to support such a solution.
