1 inch thick MDF.... so each speaker is super heavy about 30kg...

initial sound is not as good as I expected or wanted... but then again maybe cos of various other factors like I didnt use proper CD player since my player is at my home so I borrowed my parent's DVD player instead...

also maybe cos I'm expecting it to outperform the likes of LS3/5A, Super HL5, Lowthers etc...

I must say among 3 way speakers I am really fond of Harbeth's Super HL5...

the other place for hifi is definitely Adelphi mall in SG.... argh kinda regretted not getting that Adele's LP!!!!

Bangkok's Siam Paragon mall is to die for in hifi.... One section of the mall with 10 shops selling stuffs that are hard to find here... McIntosh, stylish Bang & Olufsen... mmm superb

to be honest quite the opposite... my father's friend happens to give him a Thorens TD 165 turntable for FREE in the early 90s cos at that time LP was kinda dead...

now that free thing is worth at least RM2K at the 2nd hand market...so it's all about finding the gears at the most affordable price...

like 2 years ago I got my Alpine 4 channel amp for only RM380 whereas other places selling for Rm1.2K cos the shop wanna close edi and selling all their stocks cheaply...

of car hifi is another thing altogether
