Anyone using 3g only for a longer period like one whole day? I found that the battery consumption is almost same like 2g only or slightly higher.

Mine on 2G like on wifi only. On 3G like triple or 4x the power consumption on 2G  doh.gif

just give a try yourself. This is my own experience. Please use 3G only instead of 2G/3G in order to "lock" the frequency

It happens due to the 2G/3G toggle. Most ROM with that toggle got such problem.
