ipad has the same GPU as Vita but with much higher res, thus much more GPU power is needed to render graphics.

Not saying that its impossible, it would be nice to have too. But if you understand how Apple works, you'll know that it is near zero chances that iPad will start supporting PS suite. laugh.gif

if anything, they'll just ask those developers to port the games to iOS and make those games suited for touch screen controls, instead of running on Sony's software.

Plus Apple already have their own app store, that is already full of games for themselves, just not Vita kind of games. Apple's game ecosystem is just not the same as Sony's mostly because of hardware. They have to cater for previous gen devices too, unlike Vita that the developers can make games specifically for it only. That's the advantages of hardware developed specifically for games.

I was totally disappointed when HTC released Sensation last year, not only the phone itself is a bit underwhelming, they also came out with all kind of variation of it, totally destroying the flagship product.

Like I have mentioned before (even in the first page), GPU's most important function is to enable you to play the games that you want to play. So far I haven't face any issue in this regard yet. Benchmarking is fun, but that's about it. It doesn't represent real life usage.

Games will be mainly developed for the lowest common denominator, not the highest end to maximize market potential, sans the few games that is developed to show case hardware. Hence why the GPU in GNex will be good enough for another year or 2. happy.gif

My primary case is the Ringke Slim, but still I use my phone naked 95% of the time.. rarely put on the case. I like it a lot more when the phone is without the protective case. My phone is still in perfect condition until now, despite dropping a few times throughout this "almost 1 year time". It could just be me bring lucky though. tongue.gif
