Hi guys, i need DD-WRT because of the QoS. I went to the athena website and i looked at the guide, but the problem is that the firmware stated on the Athena website was 7.05 but i have 7.13. What do i do?

DD-WRT is not designed for Malaysia use, ensure you have all the informations before proceeding so.

Also do take into considerations of the IPTV port (LAN 4), it's a VLAN port and shouldn't be tweaked. If you proceed then you will lost it since TM aren't going to release that information to you no matter how you begged them.

As for your firmware problems, you can try downgrade it to 7.05 before change it to DD-WRT, or you can always try performing the changes even at 7.13.

I suggest that you make a backup first of the firmware before any changes are done.

Before you flash, save/backup your current config.bin, and make sure yo have your current router's FW available.

I got DIR615 G2 with 7.09 firmware. I did flashed the DDWRT fw from the site, but not working properly. So I browse the ftp and download the latest DDWRT for DIR615 rev D

I flashed the latest DDWRT firmware and it's work... Wait..

I already use TP-Link TD-W8960N as the DIR615 replacement, and even TP-Link has official page for Unifi setup at their hompage

The Unifi network configuration is based on VLAN tagging. VLAN id 500 for PPPOE Internet, and VLAN id 600 is for IPTV.


But I stil need the DIR615 for my other experiment... WIRELESS IPTV setup.

Unifi-->Fiber router/gateway --> TD-W8960N -port4-> DIR615DDWRT ~~Repeater Bridge mode~~> Another TD-W8960N -> HyppTV STB =HDMI= LCDTV.

~~ : WiFi
== : HDMI


Result? Partially working. But the I have problem with STB, because it cannot respond to remote control or panel's button/.

hi..hope some1 can help me..i try to ddwrt my dlink dir615 but i cannot find the tool tab..is there something i am missing? plz help. tq
