Agreed. I know he is the most dangerous player for us, he create a lot of chances, give opposition defend a hard day, but sometime he is too selfish. People around such as borini can't even involved in the game when this happen.

Differ from Carroll, although he can't create a lot of chances or be dangerous with skills, his rate of goal conversion per chance is higher. So, may be try to start without Suarez,and give Andy chance to be lone striker.

everton's victory showed one thing - defense. get it right first. did we close down the opponent fast enough? WBA even taught us a lesson on tiki taka. really need time to adapt.

owen's been linked with everton btw. that will almost complete his journey. next he should do is to move to mancity

first a superb pass from Hendo where he missed completely when only a keeper to beat..then a Sterling pass in which he shot against the post..an own goal where he miss a cross from Kelly..luckily there's a Hearts defender able to save his embarrasment..bout 3 golden chances there..despite all that I have to admit he's got a good movement..several times a linesman made a bad call when he clearly onside

what change of opinion? i have never been a fan of no.21 - in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.
here's something someone did, comparing last yr's WBA game with the recent excellent 0-3 performance.
you can see how last yr lucas attemped more forward passes, but only for them to be intercepted which are the ones in red.
now under BR hes playing slightly further up front, moving slightly out of his comfort zone and he spraying passes sideways more again.
time will tell, but if no.21 still looks uncomfortable playing higher up...then i dont see how he'll be starting more games once he returns.

skrtel had 84% pass completion rate, but were any of them really useful?
thats cos we then had both adam and spearing running the midfield.
now we got the golden boy and sahin, also jonjo is slowly coming of age.

plus BR, like rafa, likes to employ 2 holding sweeping midfielders.
and i dont think anyone would just like to draw games...
