I thought Suarez and Allen played very well today. Gerrard and Downing had disappointing performances and Borini was very withdrawn. Downing should not play on the right if he's not going to cut in and shoot, he doesn't seem to have the confidence to do that. So Rodgers should either get him to start doing that or play him on the left.

Seriously, the formation is very confusing. If Dempsey comes, how is he fitting in? With so many wingers playing key roles and Borini is also in the starting 11, I am puzzled.

Sahin ---- Gerrard ---- Allen
Enrique--Agger--Skrtel--Johnson

Means that we sacrifice Assaidi and Sterling on the bench and pushes Suarez to the right. If Walcott comes, he will be on the bench as well.
