With the signing of Sahin comes at a good time because of Lucas's injury. Give credit to Shelvey but which I also think that he deserves a first team run out after Lucas's injury. The signing of Asaidi to me, I'm not really sure if he can be a success or not but the LFC no.11 could make his mark. Looking at width, I think the gaffer has no problems at all with Sterling playing a mature game, Downing, Asaidi and even Suarez can play wide. Borini needs a bit more time but what if he is injured? Who would play up front? Only Suarez would not be enough. Too bad we couldn't get Sturridge. That's a miss...

What Liverpool lack is another attacking option. Could've seen Sahin played as a supporting role instead of Gerrard today. Gerrard didn't even perform today not at his best at all.
