QUOTE(kcmy @ Sep 3 2012, 01:31 AM) no,i expect him to be more clinical! we know now Borrini can do nuts, Gerrard shooting boots somehow got lost longtime ago and who do we rely to score but Suarez? i dun think its only me, but ALL liverpool fans around the world pinned our hopes on him, and if he cants score we are doomed... It's hardly his fault we didn't get a goalscorer on deadline day to share some of his burden. It's one thing to hope for him to score. It's a totally different thing to rip into him as if he didn't deserve the red shirt. He was our top scorer last season despite being banned for 8 matches. It's the least bit of respect we can give him. Not to mention he gives nothing less than 100% week in week out. All we do is sit here and moan. QUOTE(kcmy @ Sep 3 2012, 01:39 AM) so u mean i should be happy and sit quietly when he's blasting shots over the bar and see other teams like WBA beating the crap out of us? Did the other players help him out? Sahin, Allen, and the others had chances to shoot but didn't. Even Downing played well but also shot wide. Of course as supporters we can voice our grouses, but the least we can do is not to insult him like the way some of you did. You're coming off as a bit of a broken record now so you can just go and do one. This post has been edited by Zephyr_Mage: Sep 3 2012, 06:34 AM

QUOTE(kcmy @ Sep 3 2012, 09:07 AM) bro, no one insulted him,no one calling him names,we are voicing our frustration towards a guy who we think can carry us forward as others, with the exception of Allen, Sterling and maybe Jonjo, are hopeless. We can see clearly that Gerrard is not in the mood anymore, its not his age,its his passion,it has died down... As a Liverpool supporter I understand the frustrations everyone is having. Ask led_zep_freak and he'll tell you that I did rip into Suarez when the match was going on, but he deserves better than "RVP is better than our strikeforce combined by a hundred miles" and as one citeh fan mentioned "a liability". A liability, unbelievable. Speaking of liabilities, the reason why we are in the relegation zone is we've conceded 7 goals in 3 games. Arsenal haven't scored before this game and has not conceded a single goal and they are 1 point behind the scum. We cannot expect Suarez to score 5 more goals to win us all 3 games. The problem with our team now is more than just being unable to score. This post has been edited by Zephyr_Mage: Sep 3 2012, 09:16 AM

If we cannot afford Dempsey we cannot afford Drog's wages. Period.

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Sep 3 2012, 01:25 PM) If we are gonna talk about mistakes, we go a long way back. Back in Gerard Houllier's days, we were aiming for the up and coming Ronaldinho in 2001, before even the world know who heck he is. We were reluctant to pay $15 million to PSG. Then we refuse to pay $10.5 million to Sporting Lisbon to Cristiano Ronaldo in 2002 thinking it was too much. Then Samuel Eto'o actually begged GH to sign him instead of trying to land Djibril Cisse. I still remember the article "I am not as handsome as David Beckham but I am a better footballer than him". And Nicolas Anelka was actually settling down in Liverpool although on loan. We ended up getting Sinama Pongolle, Anthony Le Tallec, El-Hadji Diouf, Salif Diao and Bruno Cheyrou (future Zidane). Then in 2006, Benitez thought Sergio Aguerro is a big risk and not worth the money and went on to sign Fernando Morientes. Sigh... if those players have graced the Red shirt, wonder if we still be waiting for our 19th. You just had to go and remind me how we signed Diouf instead of C. Ronaldo.
