Samsung S9 Plus charging port issue, not able to fast charge all of a sudden. can I know the price?

For wired charging, tried everything already. Samsung's charger, my Aukey fast charger, car fast charger, and also a variety of fast charge cables including Type A cable using Type C adapter. All didn't work.

I have also did a soft and hard reset (factory reset) still same.

For wireless fast charging it works just fine.

Just to update on my case, I actually sent my phone to Samsung Service Centre to be checked out and since it was out of warranty I had to pay for the repairs which is to change the charging port as when they ran a diagnosis, they said there were debris in the charging port (physically cannot seen by the eye apparently). It costs around RM 2xx which was ok for me so I proceed with the repairs.
However that didn't resolve the issue as during collection after the repairs I told the service desk person to test it and the fast charging is still not working so they took it in and re-diagnose it physically and it turned out to be a motherboard issue. It costs close to RM 2k to change the motherboard which I flipped on the service engineer and refused the repairs as they misdiagnosed my phone and I was doubting their abilities and was not about to risk that much money on their incompetence.

I have already lodge a complaint to Samsung and my case is currently still pending with their management according to the Samsung Service Rep.


TLDR: Change charging port didn't work > Turned out motherboard issue > Lodge complaint to Samsung
