Thanks for the info, may I know what is MUE?
I currently have 4 bank cc with quite high credit limit, recently rejected by alliance bank after 2 week of submission.
mue is your basic income 20x
mue limit include all your credit card credit limit, and your personal loan up to date outstadind balance.
example1
your months salary rm10,000
mue is 20x rm10,000 = rm200,000
you own 4 credit card
mbb credit limit rm40k
cimb credit limit 40k
uob credit limit rm40k
citi credit limit rm40k
total credit limit rm160k
your max credit limit can approve in alliance bank is rm200k -160k = rm40k
example 2
monthly income rm10k
mue 20x rm10k = rm200k
you own 4 credit card and total credit limit for 4 card is rm 180k and outstanding personal loan is 40k
which mean your mue is 4 credit card limit 180k + 40k = rm220k.
your mue is exceed 200k ( *20x of ur basic income.)
therefore alliance bank will now approve your credit card.
i am sure a lot of lyn formuer own more than 5 credit card and with huge limit and with 30years prompt payment never late customer , alliance bank still will not approve your due to the mue limit.
