Good question😅. 1st of all, mine appeared in eccris on April, but i didnt notice it. But one thing i found out is, i cant really use the virtual card yet, as i didnt “Activate” it, although occasionally Alliancebank sms will come in and asked me to activate my virtual card which i didnt till date.

I shall received my E-statement within this 1~2 days, lets see my statement include this new virtual card or not.

2nd thing, yes if you activated the virtual card, you gotta pay the SST RM25, just no annual fee.

One thing stop me from activating the virtual card is, i don really found i need the card🤣. I got the VI, and got few more cc from others banks, in fact, i am trying to reduce number of cards in hand, just that suddenly this virtual card come out.

However, one thing that catch my eye, one of the feature of this virtual card is “Scan and Pay at any merchant via Duitnow’. So well, direct transaction from cc to merchant without going through Ewallet? That is interesting. It that any other virtual card user can confirm this ah😅?

I tried to scan a duitnow qr code from a restaurant..but got error ask me contact bank..
