Just planning for future.
My budget is 5k
Usually I listen to deadmau5 song or lots of trance song. And yet I like classic song lulz
My noobish ice knowledge tell me what to get.
Head unit, good speaker, good amp, and sound damping Subwoofer? Doesn't like my car blast with vibration
I'm focus to get very good quality of sound and bass. So isit alot for ice?

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 19 2012, 04:55 PM) not at all. 5 digit then you ask back again, i think also give similar answers Then he will say " Enough for a decent high end SQ setup" Waiting for Krayden to say "wow" to a setup, maybe only the Penang guy ride....... For the TS type of music, strongly suggest subwoofer, don't worry about vibrations, just make sure decent sound deadening done. You need the low end reach/presence for trance & classic orchestra dynamic. If pop, ballad and vocal based then can just rely on speaker without subwoofer as less dynamic and more mid centric. Anyway, it's a vios, think there is enough space in the boot to house a subwoofer. Not like some of us that have ride with very limited boot space.......

BTW this for vios 5k isnt a lot for a good sq setup but it is enough to kick start u in on 2nd hand/used sq units. With this budget normally u should be able to catch entry to mid level used units but bear in mind this might not include installation/workmanship as well as soundproofing. If u are gunning for entry level units for the whole setup, 5k is suffice for the whole setup including soundproofing and workmanship. It all will boil down to your preference on how and what kind of sq that suits to your ear. To some an entry level units might suffice while to others at least mid level units to satisfy their needs.

Paging howiechoo. Just drop by his place and state your budget. He will be able to recommend/tailor-made a complete setup based on your budget. That's what I did anyway for both of my rides.
