Where to get fonts?

I find that the fonts I have in my pc are quite simple and plain. Are there any websites out there that provide cool fonts for use with programs like GIMPshop? Where do all the sifus here get their fonts from?

Just paste them into C:\Windows\Fonts\

Yep, paste them into your Fonts directory and Windows will automatically install the fonts for you.
