I have the same problem, Samsung SSD seems like the best, but i watched some youtube videos, it seems that the Intel benchmark is better than it, however when comparing bootspeed and application loading time, samsung stands out, making me totally lost.
Lots of retailers in lowyat are selling intel, but hardly see any for samsung. any special reason?
Edit: I'm comparing the Samsung 830 128Gb vs the Intel 520 120GB

Thanks for that, really confused between the both, i choose 520 instead of 330 because the price difference is not much, 100+? Samsung 830 is priced a little higher than the intel one, thats why I'm still thinking which one to get..
Intel 330 120gb - RM308 Intel 520 120gb - RM435 Samsung 830 128gb - RM350 - 375

QUOTE(soultaker @ Oct 11 2012, 03:10 PM) Sequential Read / Write (up to) 550 MB/s / 500 MB/s Source: Intel SSD 520 SeriesYour write speed is very fast already.. almost reach it's limit (500mb/s).. U need more speed? Do you always write data with file size bigger than 485mb? Other people write speed only between 200-350mb/s and consider fast already.. Hmm. I'm just wondering, cause I see other Intel 520 can hit 510+ write speed, agree is fast bust just wondering mjne like capped.. QUOTE(fat cat @ Oct 11 2012, 05:11 PM) looks normal. maybe your ssd is getting full, so its slightly slower? My corsair is good though, 30 gb free. and still getting read 550 mb/s and write 515mb/s. hmm.. Just got the drive and installed one game, only use like 40gb out of 110, maybe my cable / port problem
