QUOTE(Yagami5159 @ Apr 25 2013, 08:56 AM) You've stated you're currently using hybrid HDD and you're asking the meaning of Hybrid? :/ hi bro, thx for ur info. I know what is hybrid, but im not sure when the manufacturer says hybrid, is it one of the 500 GB HDD that is hybrid, or both are hybrid? and does hybrid means HDD with partial SSD? If you're asking what's the meaning of Hybrid drive: Wikepedia Else: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yes, it's possible to clone your OS and or everything (depends on your SSD capacity). These utility are included only for various brand/capacity which I couldn't remember. Cheers any good ssd for notebook to recommend? and software to clone too. |

Hi guys, I have a new 240GB Intel SSD here, and I have a notebook with 2 hard disk slot (Drive 1 contain OS and applications, Drive 2 contain only movies).
So I plan to move everything from Drive 1 to the new SSD using Intel migration software to continue using my windows and all its applications with it. The problem now is I do not have a USB to SATA cable. Is it possible for me to remove Drive 2 and replace it with the new SSD, and then do the migration process? And finally taking the replace the Drive 1 with the SSD, and put the Drive 2 back to its original position. |

QUOTE(1024kbps @ May 19 2013, 10:39 PM) Try to use native Driver from Intel or AMD, depends on your mobo. may I know what do u mean by native driver from Intel? Msachi = default AHCI driver from microsoft, its stable but it isn't optimized as much as Intel/AMD AHCI driver. can u point any download page for me to download the driver? One more question, should I install Intel Rapid Storage Technology? thanks alot! |
