without a battery backed cache, any disk drive (HDD or SSD) will have the likelihood of data corruption in an event of a power failure.
A SSD Nand-flash must fully complete an in-progress program (write) operation to ensure the data is stored properly within the NAND cell, so if halfway power got cut, you may experience some data loss/corruption.
