AHA! Finally I resolve the stupid IDE-AHCI issue.

The way to edit the registry is slightly different in Windows 8, so for all the friends out there who installed Windows 8 and did not enable AHCI first, here's the solution:

- Go to Regedit, look for "storahci"
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\storahci
- Double click to expand it, and DELETE the entire "StartOverride".
- Restart your comp into Bios.
- Enable the AHCI mode.
- ENJOY!

Im thinking upgrading my SSD to Corsair Neutron GTX 240 or Corsair 240GB GT. Both i read review have very similar speed, but the new Neutron GTX use very different controller (LAMD), which 1st of its kind to appear in SSD market. However all the reviewer doesnt seems to found any problem at all during testing.

Corsair Neutron GTX (Key points)
- LM87800 Controller (LAMD)
- SATA3
- Toggle Nand

Corsair GT
-SF-2281
-SATA3

Which 1 should I get? both also got very similar price.

I would go for the Intel or Samsung SSDs if you are looking for reliability and quality tongue.gif

that clear my doubt and relief my worried, thanks!

Btw the way, if it 'affect' your booting drive (in mine, and most of the case in this thread), the SSD, it simply increase the performance, without causing any software problem right? (Sorry for the dumb question, really new to all these settings tongue.gif)

Expensive. You are going to have a very small market with this. I think most people would rather wait for 830 to drop in price. More value/price. smile.gif
