QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Oct 30 2012, 06:24 PM) i guess i will go for 330 180gb then but where u found RN429 ? i did a search on gs, managed to find lowest 440 only At Viewnet. But you may want to try inquiring about the current prices at the Garage Sales. Sometimes the pricing is quite outdated and some do offer price matching. QUOTE(everling @ Oct 30 2012, 09:41 AM) You can read my earlier post on why there is a difference. The 0 Fill benchmark looks much better. Cloning a HDD-based OS to a SSD has been known to cause problems. If this is what had happened, you should try a fresh install of Windows 7. One benefit of a fresh install is that Windows will automatically perform what SSD optimisations it could, which is good enough for most people to not bother with further manual SSD optimisation. Added on October 30, 2012, 9:42 amI see. Fresh install of Diablo 3 seems like solve the issue. Played 3 hours no freeze issue

QUOTE(underworld @ Oct 31 2012, 08:20 AM) i myself got the 520 120GB as it gives 5 years warranty . The 330 is 3 years warranty well, it all depends on how you use it. if you use it very much often, like writing 100gb/day, go for 520. just for the 5 years warranty.

Can I know which SSD you guys will choose:
1. Intel 330 180GB 2. OCZ Vertex 4 120GB
Both of them are USD99.99, buying from US.

Personally, i don't recommend buying from US as if i'm not mistaken there is no international warranty for SSD. last time plan to get Samsung SSD 128GB from US for $89.99 around RM279. it's a good deal but scared if anything happen had to send back the item to US for warranty. Unless buying additional SSD, i might buy from US. if you need more capacity, take the Intel. you don't need to bother about the benchmark so much as you will not utilize your SSD to the max during daily usage. just make sure your mobo support sata3 - 6gbps and you are good to go.

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Nov 2 2012, 11:27 PM) do you guys split your ssd into partitions? 1st time ssd user here An unnecessary step unless you want to allocate a small portion for Intel SRT. For some, making a single 256GB partition for OS may not be enough, especially if there are games.
