so the bmark is suppose to be normal right? low seq. write in AS

Crucial's M4? Marvell controller.

Ignore AS for SSD performance validation. Only ATTO is acceptable because they use compressible data.

As for the lower write speed, that seems correct for 60GB SSDs.

Jayacom has it in their late August price list.

try startech or jayacom for Crucial m4, though their price maybe higher than you get from from forum.

hi guys, ever after i switch to ssd(intel 330 120gb), i'm bugged by 1 issue.
Sometimes i won't able to boot to windows , it will give me error 0x00000e9 I/O error. I faced this issue a few times already. Previously i solve it by formatting it (yes i know its a dumb move), but sometimes this issue will still come back somehow. Tried to fix the windows startup, doesn't work as well. Recently i found another way to temporarily solve it which is boot without other hard disk(just boot with ssd connected only).

Below are my pc spec

Win 7 ultimate 64bit
2x4gb ddr3 1333mhz
Intel 330 120gb
WD Caviar Black 1tb
Seagate 160gb
dvd-rw rom
ATi HD6950 1GB
Silverstone strider 560w

if you're looking for M4 and you can access Equine Park easily, try to pay CEX a visit
their price is... well, seems unbeatable

btw, jayacom intel 330 60gb is selling at 205 as on their price list. i bet it'll drop under 200 soon

anyone came by stores selling SSDs on a stick ? saw a few on the web but doubt we can get to see them in the local market

speaking of 120gb, anyone knows any official reseller for samsung 830?
my friend got 1 from china which is pretty cheap ( ssd + shipping = 368 something ) but warranty is my main concern. after what happened to my intel 520 lol
