Maroon 2001 Kenari Ezi user here. Used to be my bro's car. Took it from him a year ago. Currently stage by stage reviving it.

QUOTE(jaesern @ Feb 8 2014, 03:24 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « seriously, a piece of advice, Kelisa will have a better fc then Kenari as it's lighter by 30kg (correct me if i'm wrong). for 100km traveling everyday, i wouldn't suggest you to take both of Kenari or Kelisa. Myvi will be a slightly better choice, best if sedan. as for your Wira 1.5 A fuel consumption, it's because of the 3 speed auto, not suitable for highway cruise if you're hoping for good fuel consumption. major concern specifically on Kenari, engine mounting front absorber mounting rear absorber aircond » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « added » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « added wow K3-VE, that's my last resort. any other mod done? latest update on my Birdie, car gonna be ready by next week parts changed: valve cover + gasket timing belt kit + aux belt set coolant + water pump + all coolant hoses + thermostat atf + filter + sump gasket power steering fluid engine mounting steering rack bush front right lower arm respray subframe with aerosol paint as rusty spotted preventive maintenance + oil leak + service mileage reached for atf and timing belt = costing me a big bomb now betting my luck on engine oil sump and flywheel oil seal got all the front part changed (engine/gearbox/aircondition/front brake disk&caliper/meter) the original engine got all kind of problems, and im kinda sick of it btw anybody know if kenari with k3ve needs rear brake disk to endorse? last time i checked with few people, all of them said no need. now i confuse already |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Feb 26 2014, 05:42 PM) Silverstone Powerblitz 1800 and Falken Ziex 326? you'll need some much much better tire then us as your birdie have around 60% more power then us. Any good tyre recommendations? I'm a noob when it gets to car tyres, really |

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Mar 7 2014, 10:12 AM) 10 years old is lidat 1. Unless u want to spend money to replace parts, if not u sell away. But can't get a good price for this condition. My birdie already more than 10, but i always service regularly, replace defective part with original 1. I dun see anything bothers me so far. I like this car becoz of 1 thing: Save petrol. how far can your birdie go? wanted to know the benchmark for normal kenaris. auto/manual?my K3 auto full tank RM75 can go till around 450++ KM only. don't know if thats considered decent or rather poor quite concern about this since my weekly mileage is around 600KM This post has been edited by muh_is: Mar 7 2014, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(j1122 @ Mar 11 2014, 12:04 AM) perhaps i always stuck in traffic jam Mine is auto. and always stuck in traffic jam. batu caves - klang daily via mrr2-LDP-Federal-Kesas (110KM+- daily). u know how the traffic is during peak hours btw all you guys get 450km++ for a full tank? are you guys driving a manual? those figure is impression for me if you are driving an auto as my birdie is only manage to get max 310km per full tank but again, maybe due to the engine, hence why i was able to get around 450+KM per full tank? |
