hope anybody can help..my friend buy 2nd kenari and use about 8month...

in 8month got a lot problem...so i check than found...past owner accident..so engine really bad...so he just want run the car with min cost...

he change L5 ENGINE..so downgrade from 1.0 standard kenari..

660cc turbo...but gearbox still kenari..ecu kenari...

so now new owner want change to standard....

then he got bajet to upgrade performance part...just want more pickup and smooth engine and also good looking engine bay...dont want major modi and up max hp...

anybody can suggest where i can find all part?better all can buy in 1 shop...

Have you tried on mudah.my? A lot online seller there.
Try those that have online shop in mudah, they are more verified.

For handling improvement, one thing to upgrade is the front absorber mounting. This page here and here, will show you the difference between stock Kenari mounting vs Alza.

How to know if you need to change:
- If you drive downhill, step on the brakes, and notice the steering huyung-hayang...
- Over a bump, the car lands on the road with cabin noise like coming apart...
- The mountings are > 3 years old...

I'm doing some major fixes quoted RM1.6k for engine mounting and fixing oil leak. Price not include labor.
Front shocks mounting no modification needed, need the brass ring that comes with it to fit the absorber.
For rear, can change the trail arm and stabilizer bar bush if damaged. Rear absober no bush, change whole absorber only.

gti_rsthe brass ring was included when I bought mine. and yes, it seems like the engine type.

Myvi and Kenari is similar.
Alza is the tough one. I spent RM280 with installation. Mudah can find cheaper.

To have proper open pod, you need these incorporated to the design:
- Separate filter space from engine bay to reduce hot air intake.
- Insulated air channel to prevent intake air heating in engine bay.
- Big diameter air channel, otherwise it will restrict high RPM, making the engine worse than stock airbox. The longer the air channel, the worse.
- Can opt for pipe + air box + throttle body, instead of direct piped to throttle body.

Pros:
- Tuned air channel length can improve specific RPM torque, but only that specific RPM.

Cons:
- Noisy.
- Poor design can make engine perform worse.
- Less vacuum for some critical parts, like engine head cover and master brake pump. May cause them to degrade performance.
1. New original parts: P2SC is RM1k & RM150++ upah, 6 months warranty. Outside same price, no warranty.

2. Depends what you change: RM150~180 for top cover and gasket. P2SC and outside similar price, difference is warranty.

3. P2SC around RM600, can call to ask. If buy sendiri, full set APM RM400.

I haven't try them, and they seem like unknown brands.
Well, better than the ones I'm using, 'DII' brand.

I'd rather do APM or KYB. But, that's just me.

using Pro-ride now, fyi it's by Sapura. Sapura made dampers and springs for R3. back to topic, i'm using the yellow full set, the front cannot satisfy me, rear is good.

as for Sachs, it's international big branding, tried it on Myvi full set, Super Touring series if i'm not wrong, very good!

i would suggest you to go for Sachs, don't think you're going to install lowered spring right? if you're into lowered, better to pair back with Pro-ride as it's short stroke, more suitable for lowered.
