Hi. My kenari is 12 years old already. Recently i have difficulty changing gear especially the reverse, it will make a loud grinding noise. I recalled feeling something amiss with the clutch, days before it starts making noise. I suspect it to be the clutch plate. How much is the total 'normal' cost for repair, including labour? Any reliable workshop? I live near Alam Damai Cheras

My proton has trouble with a cold engine when the fast idle is engaged. Because of the way the gears mesh, it is really noticeable when entering the reverse gear.
