QUOTE(jaesern @ Jun 6 2016, 07:56 PM) i don't think you get to buy this from kenari/kelisa halfcut specialist, they won't have it, this is common spare part you can just get from any halfcut shop. or why not buy brand new? since kenari/kelisa already have some ages in the market, parts you get may be very old. my regular mechanic said if buy the bush..need to pump...there's 8 bushes in total, that's about RM240.00 (pump cost RM30 per bush) not including the bush part and labor charge. All in would be about Rm500.I think if buy that whole arm, would be cheaper. |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Jun 9 2016, 02:35 PM) well that depend you're keeping the car for another 10 years or how. if all in for rm500 and it's brand new, given condition all the bushes and labour is fine, it's consider acceptable for me because i know i'm going to keep the car. Thanks for your input bro, btw do you know which spare part shop has the most choice for kenari in Klang Valley?if you guys willing to fork out a bit more, i would recommend EA at Bukit Jalil, not the best but i think their workmanship is acceptable, or else, diy, i got my audio set done up and upgrade at home. I don't mind to travel. |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Aug 3 2016, 04:13 PM) engine mounting easy to identify.... just go any workshop Yeah the Engine vibrate...but could it also be engine throttle problem?or u can just check it urself. pop the hood, take a flashlight and point to the mountings.. see if there are any cracks.. or if its totally broken. start the engine and see how much it vibrates. actually with the 3 cylinder engine, dont really need to do anything.. once the mounting kaput u will definitely feel the extra vibrations in the car. pls I noob. |

As for total length or width, it's up to which bumper you're putting on, be it Kenari, Kelisa, Move or Coure. bro ..since you're the TS, do you know any workshop cheap and reliable in klang valley? What about the engine compression? Wiring? Ever thought of these issue? |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Aug 3 2016, 07:41 PM) lol! well, since you bring this up, 1. i fix my own car; 2. i don't look at price. cheap things may be good, but bad most of the time, and good things seldom come cheap. so if you realize, i hardly respond to anything regarding price. i may know certain stuff with good deals, but not everything. sorry but please don't take it personally, everyone have different way of dealing with stuff... and sorry i can't help much! QUOTE(mADmAN @ Aug 4 2016, 10:45 AM) highly doubt it.... kenari and kelisa engine mounting is always an issue. dear sifu..just bring to any workshop and check. I already change all the engine mounting, clean the throttle body, change new fully synthetic engine oil and change new gear oil....now idling....I don't really feel vibration anymore. But when I accelerate....I feel vibration. Is this because of 3 cylinder engine problem or torque converter? The more I accelerate..the more like vibrate...I feel like could it be gearbox? My kenari more than 10 years ady. Pls help sifu. |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Aug 10 2016, 04:18 PM) Only when acceleration? What about deceleration? Says your vehicle speed already at 100km/h and you let go your throttle. When decelerate .....not really vibrate. At slow speed very minimal vibration. The weird thing that is ...sometime it's okay..no vibration even when I accelerate. Those are the time I felt like..the gear box everything clicks.... I read in other forum..could be grounding cable can help solve a bit..I seriously don't know. Maybe tension belt need to adjust. LAST time when I first got my car brand new...already had this problem..send to SC..they just adjust some belt..then okay. This post has been edited by Dark Horse Synergy: Aug 10 2016, 07:12 PM |

One more thing, IS the Kenari Wiper
16"/18" or 18"/20"? Quite confusing..different brand seems to state different size. |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Aug 22 2016, 08:56 PM) good to hear that! what driveshaft have u replaced? brand? Bought it from Half cut Jepun.engine mounting if you want it to be perfect, the only choice is genuine Perodua which will cost you a bomb. original size 18" driver/16" passenger; may fit up to 20" D/19" P. i'm selling the latest Toyota design, whatsapp me at 0126699366 if you're interested to get from me, can send you a photo that fitted on my Kenari, i've fitted 20" 18" on it. Interestingly the owner also drives a kenari. He told me, He changed the injector with toyota 1.5 (dun know wat he's talking abt) and the car drives like a sport performance car and save petrol summore. Oh the wiper..I'm already getting from this fella, half way nego already. thanks for the offer. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3663809 |

QUOTE(jaesern @ Aug 23 2016, 10:25 AM) QUOTE(kllam @ Aug 23 2016, 11:37 AM) I tried to get clear answer from him, he was quite reluctant.I said, you mean you change fuel injector and asked what model toyota compatible......didn't say anything, he just say it's a trade secret which some half cut people may know. Anyway I think there are many ways for upgrade Kenari performance, upgrade to YRV 1.3 Engine. upgrade to Open Pod Air Filter Use Fully copper grounding cable. Use Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. Use iridium Spark Plug etc etc |

I got new problem...well not new, some years already just that recently I got fedup.
My Driver side door very hard to close, like had to slam hard only can close. I feel it's the rubber lining but when I touch it's not that hard. What I do is, everytime I want to close my driver side door, I had to roll down the window, then only easy to close, other wise when I slam the door it will like bounce back. Anyone knows why? Is it the rubber seal? |
