Iridium plugs are supposed to last twice the lifespan of platinum ones. Some users complain about cold starts after switching to iridium plugs, have you experienced this?

No cold start problem. Just normal.

Not sure about those. I've only tried the Perodua stock oil (5-30W), Petronas Synthium (10-40W), and Shell Helix (10-40W). Although the 5-30W feels lighter, the levels tend to run low when I travel outstation. Not too sure whether it's the oil to blame, but I'm looking to try the LiquiMoly myself for my next service.

If all you're looking at is cost and availability, those petrol station brands should do just fine I guess.

Piston rings a bit worn, or valve seal problem. But burning a little is ok as long as u top up once a while. Later only deal with piston n valve seal.

Noticed my power steering fluid leaking. Trace of oil can be seen near the water outlet for aircon cooling coil.

Any solution? Suspect oil seal for the power steering rack. How much is the whole new power steering rack?
Or cost of changing the oil seal?
Tqtq.

Engine check light gone without reason. Drive first...
Suspect wiring, or sensor. Nobody had this issue before? My car standard, no mod.

Head towards nsk direction from bukit tinggi klang. That road, probably can see Hankook signboard on left. Can't remember the shop name also unless I find back the receipt.

Got bearing o gear noise on manual kenari. Not sure it's bearing humming o gear meshing noise. Taking it the gearbox requires taking out the engine right? Looks life a lot of work for this repair. What kind of damage am I looking at? I'm surprised to get this problem really as normally manual gearbox will be very reliable.
Didn't use wrong oil, n I hope to get it rectify. Any fallible mechanic for such troubleshooting in klang valley? Pj?

Just overhaul your manual gearbox at p2 SC. The labour is just about rm150 to do overhaul. But to remove the gearbox might need to add a bit more.

Seems price is reasonable for overhaul labourl. U have yours overhauled also? Labour RM 150, add parts, not sure how much then. How much is the final bill?

What's the mileage of your kelisa that requires gearbox overhaul? What's the problem with the gearbox?
My gbox making humming noise now. Getting annoying. Need remedy soon.

Thanks for sharing your experience with perodua service centre.

Change the gear oil first and see, mine used to have humming sound but i change the gear oil a few times no more humming sound

Already changed gear oil, and humming noise is getting louder by the day. My mileage only 140k km.. Never expect it to give such problem at such low mileage really.

My 05 aerosport manual 370k milage now. Never overhaul anything yet.

There is some leak on the valve cover abd below the car, had it checked and my mech told ne should be coming from gearbox so i just leave it be for now.

Wait till i change the clutch plate only fix it
*
Wow.. 370k km. That's a lot of mileage on a k car.

Already got mechanic to check. Said gearbox problem. Recommended to change recon unit. Oh well...
Taking gearbox out is too much trouble for small engine bay...Recon gearbox cost about 500 o so. Will cost more if I'm repairing my own gearbox as we don't know the condition inside.
