15inch 7jj.  but i'm using adjustable absorber.  2 finger front 3 finger back. so far still ok with 2-3 person.. 4 people might kena.  Tyre also need to find special size.. 165 50 r15.

imho.. better stick to original r14 rim, less headache.
*
If I really plans to install 15inch, I won't lowvet my kenari original spring as I'll remain original setup..
I believe should be no problems even rear seat was fully loaded with 3 person ?

And also , I'm plans to purchase halfcut L900 ef-det turbocharger and mix with my current kenari 1000cc engine Block with top 12-valve L900 ef-det turbocharger.

Anyone experience before at your own kenari ? If yes,
How's the torque power which is using at Kenari body chassis?
It's balance enough with the weight of the kenari ?
Because if I drive 1 person ,,the current engine are good enough for torque power ,, but if fully loaded with 5 person, the kenari like pulling a šŸ„ to work 🤦

Hi, asking on behalf of sister's kenari ez auto year 2000, mileage around 110k. Beginning problem was car suddenly die in middle of the road when driving, but still can start immediately afterwards, engine light and battery light flashing on dashboard, replaced alternator, battery, spark plug, clean throttle, flushed radiator (coz there's some yellow brownish mud type of dirt in the radiator system?) Then, it turned into second stage of problem, car start to experience "minor" jerk when stopping in front of traffic light & jerk again when trying to pickup after traffic light turn green. Then it became "major" jerk and car keeps vibrating vigorously during idle after the jerk, rpm drop to very low and suddenly rise up alot when switching from idle to drive, then jerk and car stalled. Occasionally car jerk when switched to reverse and stall then suddenly die. Workshop say ignition coil problem and quote RM500 to replace all 3 coils, need opinion to see if the problem is really with ignition coil or something else?

Firstly, this is my opinion only. I'm trying to be helpful, but then I am not a mechanic, nor have I had a look at your sister's car. That said, I tend to twiddle with my own cars and bikes all these years, because I don't trust any workshop.

Anyway, the problem sounds like the Engine Control Unit of the car is giving problems. Could be the ECU itself, or the wiring/power leading to it, or the sensors that the ECU read from. I think your sister should send the car to a trustworthy mechanic for diagnosis. Kenari has On Board Diagnostics port, of which the first thing a mechanic should do is plug a reader into the OBD port, and see the error codes. There shouldn't be this swap-and-try parts which your sister ends up paying for.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend a mechanic to you, maybe some other LYN member can.

Just for your information, a search online puts the cost of new ECU about RM 250, new plug coil at RM 110 each. If you are willing to go potong kereta could be even cheaper. Good luck.

Hello sifu, Last time kenari died in the middle of the road, I thought it was battery issue, then I’ve changed new battery, few weeks later the car couldn’t start again, sent to workshop, they said the alternator wasnt charging all the time. So I’ve replaced an original alternator, few weeks later again, the car died in home, asked foreman come and check, he said the battery flatted, claimed and replaced new battery. So far, it was still able to drive before MCO. During MCO period, the car couldn’t start again, I had no idea, then I changed the new bigger battery.
Things I’ve noticed before MCO, during traffic jam with A/C running, the car seem like running out of battery, the vibration was worse. Blower motor speed wasn’t like other Kenari(replaced new cooling coil, could it be the blower motor problem?)
Should I upgrade a bigger alternator? Any recommendation? Half cut or Recond.
Please help

Does anyone have a set of roof rails? I am really curious how it manages to stay on, and how the mechanism works. I may construct my own one day.

Alternately, anyone willing to sell theirs?

Hi, just saw ur reply and thanks for the suggestion, after few run to workshops, eventually one of the workshop mentioned could be ignition coil problem, but quote RM500 for 3 coils, so i end up buying online and replace them myself, the car runs ok, until... later my sis finds the car taking very long time to start moving after idle, after she starts the car, it takes around 15-30min to move when shift gear to D, but if gear R it can reverse just fine, if gear D2 it can start to move slowly and later on pickup fine, just that cannot straight to gear D after idle, any idea what could be causing it? is it gearbox issue?

My little kenari recently having some sickness. Sometime drive half way it will shut itself off. Turn off radio and aircond it will start back. Any one experience it before?

Changed: Battery (amaron) and alternator. Foremen confirm both have no issue.

doesn't sound like just basic electrical stuff, better send to another technician if the current one can't solve the issue, at least to get an second opinion.

Oh, thanks for the reply. The grill is the one that hold the headlights with the screw there right?
Is it easy to put back after fixing? I am afraid not able to put back if not success later.
I managed to change the Plate Number Lights only.
Planning to change the Front Peanut Bulb aka T10 and the interior lights as the Festoon 31mm.
Maybe changing the side indicator light to LED Type.
How about the Reverse Light? Any idea what size is that? Is it T20 size?

Hi guys … may I ask a few questions

I recently took over my sister’s kenari

So I’m currently doing upgrading works to restore the car into prestige condition , possibly use it for Lalamove

So far I’ve done :
Changed the meter ( fuel & mileage rosak )
Changed spark plug ( DENSO iridium IK16 )
Changed mounting ( Schmaco )
Changed engine gasket and valve cover
Upgraded to 10ā€ LCD android
Changed air conditioning compressor
Changed the horn to Bosch EC-12
Changed oil filter and to fully synthetic Shell

My next plan is to change :
1. Suspension
2. Lights to LED
3. Fix the locks
4. Fix the door switch sensor
5. Power window very slow , possibly the motor

I read thru
So the main headlamp is H4 , foglamp is H3
The first stage lamp is T10

May I ask , can we change the signal and reverse lamp to LED too ? If so , what’s the bulb type ?

Secondly , what’s the recommendation for suspension model / brand ? Looking for comfort.

Lastly I want to fix the locks and the door switch for the light

Is it easy to fix the locks ? Mine always driver side won’t unlock need to use key to turn , and also passenger side

Shall I change the entire lock ?
Tq
